Three Brighton-area women artists are participating
in the “Home is Where the Art Is” Open House this Sunday,
December 7th, at 6020 Wyndam Lane in the Pine Creek
development. This new twist on the typical real estate
open house is an idea developed by Kathi Presutti, owner
of RE:STYLE LLC, the home staging and redesign company
that staged the house for Coldwell Banker Schweitzer.
Update: At the
last minute, we added the work of one more artist—Kally
Walcott. See RE:STYLE's
blog for more info! This event was so successful
that we plan to repeat it in January—stay tuned!

RE:STYLE’s Kathi Presutti, along with other home stagers
from the Great Lakes Chapter of the International Association
of Home Staging Professionals (IAHSP), helped to transform
a “junk room” at the Ronald McDonald House of Detroit
into a beautiful and useful bedroom for parents who
are staying there while their child is in the hospital,
receiving care.
Here is an excerpt from comments made by Jennifer
Litomisky, Executive Director, Ronald McDonald House
Charities of Southeast Michigan:
“Congratulations to the International Association of
Home Staging Professional - Great Lakes Chapter - for
the AMAZING day of renovations, updates and staging
at the Ronald McDonald House of Detroit! The day was
monumental for us at the House.
Room 24 had always been a junk/storage room. It was
used for storage since my arrival 6 years ago. Today,
with the financial donation from McDonald Owner/Operator,
Ken Brown and the fundraising efforts by the IAHSP team,
Room 24 is GORGEOUS!”
And here is the reaction from Barb Schwarz,
The Creator of Home Staging, CEO of Stagedhomes.com,
and Founder and President of the International IAHSP
Association and Foundation:
“I am sooooooo proud of each of you!!!! What a stellar
job!! “

Here are some Before and After photos of RE:STYLE’s
work, and one of Kathi in the “restyled” Powder Room
of a townhouse. By “staging it forward”, the ASPS helped
the Lighthouse of Oakland County to get their units
rented out very quickly: de-staging was required in
just under 2 weeks!
“The staging at both of our Beacon developments looks
really terrific! I can tell that your team dedicated
a lot of time to planning and placing the furniture
and accessories.
I know that the staging contributed immensely to the
positive feedback we received from community members
during our grand opening tours. If you are ever inclined
to work with us again in the future, we would welcome
the opportunity. “
